Food Quality and Safety Standards

Food safety is at the core of our business. Through continuous and thorough reviews of all aspects of our daily operations, we ensure that our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality for our customers and consumers.

Advancing Sustainable Innovation

Sustainable innovation is central to our efforts to improve the environmental impact of our materials and processes. From developing new packaging solutions to engaging consumers on reducing food waste, our teams prioritize forward-thinking, eco-friendly approaches.

Collaboration plays a vital role in our success. We partner with suppliers, vendors, and retailers to explore emerging technologies and operational strategies that reduce packaging waste while maintaining the quality our customers expect.

Tackling Food Waste

The poultry industry has made considerable progress in reducing waste during processing, and we continue to pursue improvements through innovation. Nevertheless, food waste at the retail and consumer levels remains a persistent challenge. While ensuring food safety and quality is always our top priority, we are actively collaborating with retail partners to develop innovative solutions that encourage responsible consumption and minimize food waste at home.

Sustainable Waste Practices

We follow strict procedures to collect, transport, and dispose of waste in compliance with regional laws and regulations. Our production facility has set targets to reduce packaging use, minimize waste, and limit landfill contributions. Most of the waste generated is non-hazardous. Recyclable materials are separated and sent to recycling companies, while organic waste is, where possible, converted into compost for use as fertilizer. Hazardous or non-recyclable waste is managed through appropriate disposal methods. To prevent contamination at recycling facilities, packaging that comes into contact with blood, meat, or fat cannot be recycled, in accordance with Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) standards. As a result, some packaging materials from our production facilities cannot be recycled due to the nature of our products.
